about LISA

Lisa Masson is a commercial\editorial\fine art photographer with a broad base of experience ranging from international location shoots to diverse photography work in her in Annapolis, MD studio. She has been creating lifestyle images for over 25 years. After renovating a 3000 sq. ft. studio in Arlington, VA and spending 10 years working there, her love of the bay and sailing drew her to Annapolis, MD. There she built a new home and studio.

Her photographic specialties include delicate still life’s, striking interiors, architectural exteriors, colorful displays of food and other products and distinctive corporate brochures. Lighting is Lisa's forte' and she is especially creative with shadows and light. Since 1986 some of her clients include many upscale hotels, noted interior designers, architectural firms and advertising agencies.

I enjoy exploring the quiet imagery that surrounds us, capturing and taking each image to the next creative level. My art work encompasses film and digital capture with convergent layers of creative modifications.

Lisa has expanded her Studio into a Fine Art Gallery displaying new art constantly. Her unique working studio features vivid fine art photography available as original fine art prints or gallery wrapped canvas. Some images are also reproduced on luscious silk scarves. Stop by and see the wide range of fine art work that could make the perfect gift or a great addition to your home or office.

The BWI Hilton in Linthicum choose Lisa’s imagery of the Pride of Baltimore II as the artwork for each guest room and several meeting rooms. Her artwork has also been selected for the lobbies of several other area hotels and is also included in extensive private collections. Lisa is a regular participant of Art Between the Creeks, a local bi-annual art show, where an eclectic group of local artists transform a non-traditional exhibit space into a temporary weekend show.

Lisa would be happy to personally meet with you for a current portfolio update, a private tour of the Studio & Gallery, or an in home art consultation.

In the meantime, if you would like to be included in periodic updates through e-mailings, please contact the Studio & Gallery with your e-mail address for occasional mailings.
